In these modern times there is a lot of information and confusion with regards to diet and nutrition. Science has become the self appointed authority on the subject, yet within the realm of science there is conflicting research, evidence and opinion. This leaves the public disillusioned and confused.

Using common sense, simplicity and logic, Mindful Food looks to nature to provide us with our daily menu. The intention is to avoid food in any processed, denatured or refined form. The more one can eat raw, the better.

Mindful Food does not claim anything else than to give you a simple understanding of nutrition and a balanced diet that precedes the complications and veneers of modern day science and marketing.

Mindful Food also looks at nutrition holistically, considering food as medicine and food for detoxification. This holistic approach also includes an aspect of nutrition which is just as important as what you are putting in at your mouth, and that is the way it’s coming out at the other end. This is the unspoken subject, or taboo, of excretion and how to maintain a healthy colon.

Your understanding of food in its natural form is the key to a sustainable and healthy diet, for peace of mind and a naturally energised lifestyle.
